Q What is solvent ink?
A It is an assortment of inkjet ink when assorted by medium diluted with. When the medium is an organic solvent, it is assorted as solvent ink. In the case of water, it is aqueous ink, in the case of oil, it is oil ink. As ink there are 2 coloring elements, dye and pigment. The Real Solvent ink for JV3 is assorted as solvent pigment ink. The aqueous pigment ink is used for JV4 and JV2. Aqueous dye ink is used for art work.

Q How long is the ink resist to outdoor light?
A 3-years resistance.Water and UV resistance for 3 years outdoors. /Accelerated weather resistance testing was performed with SS2 ink applied to L49 (SPC-0342) weather-resistant glossy PVC. The results do not represent guaranteed performance. (It is not guaranteed performance.)

Q Is it resistant to scratching?
A It is much stronger than low-solvented ink such as MS ink.

Q Is it possible to print on all types of media?
A Media to be used is limited. Almost all PVC are usable, but some media are not suitable. Test prior to use is recommended.

Q How much does PVC media shrink after printing?
A It depends on materials. High-grade PVC shrinks only a little. Though the range difefrs, in any case, PVC media would shrink.

Q How much maximum output resolution of printing?
A

In addition to the maximum output resolution of 1,440dpi, the JV3 Series is equipped with variable dot technology which uses three different dot sizes for best color results and smooth gradients. This technology provides high image quality even at lower resolution print modes. The JV3 makes it possible to provide excellent print quality with all print modes.
